We went to Mesquite and St. George this past week and had a lot of fun. We went to the Tuacahn theater and watched Tarzan then Kylie, my mom and me went back the next night and watched CATS! It was way neat and my kids can't wait to go back next year. We then went 4 wheeling for the next 3 days and hung out at the pool!
Group picture!!
Corbin and Brendon hanging out at this really cool park we found in Mesquite. They had artificial turf soccer fields and a way cool splash pad set up like a soccer field (forgot to take a pic of that). We went there at 10 o'clock at night so we had the whole park to ourselves. We played a game in the dark, my kids thought it was the coolest thing ever.We went out for ice-cream after a full day of 4-wheeling!! The best part was when we went up this steep hill and made it to the top. Right on the other side of the hill was this enormous bull in the middle of nowhere. It was very freaky! Ron got off the ATV to take a pic and the bull squared up to him as if he was going to charge. I immediately took off and Ron stayed to play with the bull, fortunately the bull was just trying to scare Ron and never made a charge. We also drove under the freeway in the silver pipes you see in the pics. One day we drove out to 3 corners- which is where Nevada, Utah and Arizona meet. It is in the middle of nowhere. Dallin and Corbin kept crawling under the fences and saying look I'm in Utah- now I'm in Arizona- it was awesome! Good thing the border's weren't being guarded out in the middle of the desert LOL! What a fun trip!!
This picture was taken at the soccer field in the dark! We all just looked at the camera and hoped the pic would show up- if anyone goes down to Mesquite, let us know and we'll tell you how to get to this cool soccer complex- it was one of the best I have ever seen. One of the fields was 10 feet from a red rock mountain-amazing!!
