Flaming Gorge September 2009

We went to Flaming Gorge over Labor Day Weekend and had a lot of fun! We went up with the Wilson's and the Meyerhoffer's! We mostly played on the lake and hung out at the campsite and the kids all had a blast. One night we took marshmallows and put them in flour- we each had our own bag and divided into two teams. We then split up in the dark and tried to find each other and throw marshmallows at each other- it was a blast...I think Whitney totally lost because she was ALL white!! Yes- there were marshmallows everywhere but it was worth it! We had some funny mishaps on our trip but we are not supposed to tell anyone because then we don't appear like we are idiots so....everything went smooth! The highlights of the trip were Chase jumping off the cliff (my kids think he's awesome), the kids calling all the Antelopes- cantelopes (we are going to have some confused little kids), blowing up bottles in the fire (we are experts now!), boating, horseshoes, ball game, baseball with Hailey and Chase, wrestling with Josh, meeting new friends (Trace), craw fish catching, boat show, fireworks, the food (amazingly great!) and the best part was sitting around the campfire and spending time together. I hope all the time we spend together as a family our kids will remember and grow closer together. What an amazing weekend and our family can't wait until next year!!
