So our kids have never been skiing or snowboarding and this year we got them all snowboards for Christmas (Dallin got skis)!!  We decided they lived in Utah and at least had to try it to see what they thought about it.  We pulled them all out of school and headed up for a day at Snowbasin!!  Now honestly I thought it would be a tough day and we would have a lot of falls and a lot of tears, however our kids are amazing and we had so much fun!!  They skied straight for 7 hours and just kept going and going unitl they closed the lifts.  It was so much fun- our kids can't wait to go back!!  Here are some pictures of our cool snow day at Snowbasin!!

Kylie had actually gone the week before with a group of friends so we were impressed with her snowboarding talent!!

I was so impressed with Dallin, he kept going and going!  He would go get on the lift by him self and kept passing me up, he said he loved to go fast!

What a great day- just wish it wasn't so expensive so we could go more often!!  Our family agreed that it was one of the funnest things we have done together as a family!!  It was well worth the cost and the memories will be treasured for a long time.  I told the kids we might have to give up indoor soccer during the winter to pick up this new hobby- they said they would think about it LOL!
